Gel plate printing
I am very happy to be welcoming the wonderful Mrs B back to H&E to share with us this back by popular demand fantastic workshop!
Mrs B’s Introduction To Gel Plate Printing Workshop
Gel plate printing is a quick and effective way to create layered prints on paper and fabric.
We will be experimenting with acrylic paints and different techniques to create a range of effects with a gel printing plate.
The day will be spent exploring ways of creating layered patterns and simple, bold motifs and, if you wish, hand stitching can be included on the printed surface.
This is a great technique that is perfect for exploring colour, shape and pattern and we will have a day full of creative, messy fun and cake!
